Purity Cube, an avant-garde art installation and sound performance curated by Passkey, unfolded at Vancouver's VIVO Media Arts Centre. This collaborative endeavor showcased the technical prowess of diverse artists, including NSC (myself), Adam Nickel, Ty Martens, Alexis George (Sam Street), Sunder (Kaed Funk), City (Will Balantyne), and Tenderness (Baby Blue).
The immersive experience leveraged cutting-edge visual artistry and experimental soundscapes to challenge traditional artistic norms. Within VIVO's technologically-equipped space, the fusion of innovative lighting, projection mapping, and advanced sound systems created a multi-sensory environment.
The Purity Cube was a sculpture constructed using reclaimed locally sourced lumber, shower curtains, funghi moulding and garden mulch.
The event served as a testament to Passkey's commitment to pushing the boundaries of experiential art and sound performances. By intertwining technology, creativity, and culture, "Purity Cube" not only redefined the artistic landscape but also showcased the transformative potential of collaborative, experimental art in Vancouver's cultural scene.
